Christ Church Saint Peter's C of E Primary School

Christ Church St Peter’s is located in the heart of the Leicestershire village of Mountsorrel on the River Soar.  Christ Church St Peter’s caters for 409 pupils between the ages of 5 and 11.  The school has maintained its Good standard, which has been reflected in the grade awarded to the school by Ofsted.

The school aims to be a Christian community in which children, parents, teachers and other adults, in partnership, create together an environment which encourages a life-long love of learning in which everyone is valued in an atmosphere of security, mutual respect and care, enjoyment and equality of opportunity for all.

 

Ofsted 2017: 

“The school’s vision for pupils to ‘aim high and care for everyone’ is modelled well by staff. It is reinforced effectively in learning along with high expectations for pupils’ behaviour.”

 

Results: 

Pupils at Christ Church St Peter’s achieve well above average both locally and nationally in Writing. The school has maintained its high results for all core subjects over the past 3 years.
