Our trust leads are some of our most skilled practitioners across the trust.

With 6 additional trust lead visits across the academic year, there is the chance to build capacity quicker through them working with leaders in their specific areas, and providing robust quality assurance and recommendations to improve further.

As part of the Core ++ offer, schools are entitled to additional virtual trust lead visits.

This provides our most vulnerable schools with additional improvement capacity from some of our most skilled leaders across the trust.

While our Director of Education will obviously visit the school for the Support & Development Days, and the School Improvement Initiative Reviews, our Core Offer ++ provides for 3 additional DoE days across the academic year, providing a deeper level of school-specific support.

The visits will always be focused on improving school effectiveness in line with the School Improvement Plan, and will also be an opportunity to validate the schools SEF at additional points within the year.

Some of our most vulnerable schools may require additional leadership capacity to provide the rapid improvements needed.

Where required, we will provide interim executive leadership support through an experienced leader within the trust to help drive school improvement and support the Headteacher in doing this. 

CPD is key to improving pupil outcomes.

We realise that capacity may be limited in vulnerable schools, so the trust will provide a bespoke CPD plan, tailored to the school's needs, and support in the delivery of this programme to ensure that teaching staff receive high-quality CPD throughout the year. 

As a trust we believe in the strength of local governing committees.

Our review of local governance will focus on providing effective action points to ensure governance is the strongest it can be at school level.
