Why Rise?
βββIt is not easy to eradicate a sense of sales pitch from such areas of MAT websites…but we have tried.
Whilst there is a range of information across our website, we wanted to use these pages to gather and synthesise the most helpful information in one place. We have tried to capture all of the things that we think could be helpful to schools who are either:
- At the early stages of thinking of joining a MAT or
- Thinking of entering into a more informal partnership arrangement with a Trust
Our intention is to be one of the highest performing trusts in the East Midlands, by every possible metric. Alongside this, we want to continue to build our reputation for doing the right things in the right way. Our focus on pupils, staff and school communities’ flourishing and succeeding can be seen in our vision statements www.risemat.co.uk/vision-values/, and is something we truly believe in, and intend to continue.
We are committed to using the collective ‘power’ of our family of schools for the greater good. We use our financial resources and our central team capacity to support and strengthen vulnerable schools on their improvement journey, and work with our already strong schools to ensure they become truly great schools.
If you have made it to the end of this introduction, then I hope you have the appetite to read on. We understand that joining a MAT is a big decision. It is also a long-term decision that will almost certainly outlast those leaders and governors who make the decision.
We genuinely believe our biggest strength is the people who work within our family of schools, so if you would like to arrange an informal, no strings attached meeting with myself and/or Director of Education, we would be delighted to talk with you. Please contact us by email admin@risemat.co.uk or call our office on 01164 783770.
Warm regards,
Mark Cole
