LIZ BOWLER
CLUSTER OPERATIONS LEAD
- Liz is one of the Cluster Operations Leads for the Trust, supporting the day-to-day office management, HR matters, finance, procurement, and health and safety.
- After graduating in Engineering, Liz spent 15 years working in the Motor Manufacturing industry before taking up the role of Learning Support Assistant and more recently working as the office manager at Oakthorpe Primary.
- Liz is a long suffering Derby County supporter!
SHARRON GARRETT
CLUSTER OPERATIONS LEAD
- Sharron is one of the Cluster Operations Leads for the Trust, supporting across Admin, HR, Finance, Procurement & H&S.
- She has worked in a primary school for 17 years and has been a Business Manager for 13 of those years.
- Sharron has a Level 4 Diploma in Business Administration and a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership.
NICKY HEARFIELD
SENIOR CLUSTER OPERATIONS LEAD
- Nicky is one of the Senior Cluster Operations Leads for the Trust, supporting across finance, HR, procurement, administration and health and safety.
- She is an experienced School Business Manager having worked in education administration and finance for over 18-years.
- She has a Master’s Degree in Finance, Level 5 DSBM qualified and previously worked as an auditor in the business sector.
DAWN MANNING
CLUSTER OPERATIONS LEAD
- Dawn is one of the Cluster Operations Leads for the Trust, supporting across Admin, HR, Finance, Procurement & Health & Safety.
- Having worked in various educational support roles over the last 22 years’ she has gained a wealth of experience.
- She worked in a secondary school as a Finance Officer before undertaking the CSBM course in 2005 and moving to the role of Business Manager in the primary sector in 2006.
LAURA MARSH
CLUSTER OPERATIONS LEAD
- Laura is a Cluster Operations Lead for the Trust, supporting schools with HR, Finance, Procurement, Administration and Health & Safety.
- Laura has a LLB Hons Law degree and has worked in Rise schools for the past six years. She is passionate about well-being and inclusion.
- Laura is a licensed Church of England Minister and outside of work, she leads a Forest Church community. Laura is also a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Holder.
JACKIE WAINWRIGHT
SENIOR CLUSTER OPERATIONS LEAD
- Jackie is one of Senior Cluster Operations Leads for the Trust, supporting across HR, finance, procurement, administration and Health & Safety.
- She began her working life FOH in theatre in Leicester before moving to London where she headed the sound division of a company hiring technical equipment for the theatre and entertainment industry. She has been working in schools for the past 12 years.
- Jackie is an experienced CFO of a single academy trust. She has worked as an SBM and Executive Business and Operations Lead across several schools within Rise. She has a Level 4 AAT diploma and CIPFA Certificate in Financial Reporting for Academies.
KAREN HARVEY
ATTENDANCE AND SAFEGUARDING LEAD
- Karen has worked in Education for more than 27 years, she has worked in two city primary schools during this time.
- She has worked as an Attendance and Admissions Manager for 15 years and is passionate about attendance and believes every child should have the opportunity to attend school to reach their full potential.
- Karen is a Designated Safeguarding Lead with many years of experience. She has completed many Safeguarding courses including Warwickshire & Leicestershire college Safeguarding and Prevent course.
- Karen has a vast amount of experience in Attendance, Safeguarding and School admissions.
SADKO NADIOO
CLUSTER ESTATES LEAD
- Sadko is one of the Cluster Estates Leads supporting the day to day running of the Trusts estates.
- He worked for Openhands Charity Leicester for a couple of years before joining the education sector to continue positively impacting the communities he formed a part of.
- Sadko joined Rise in 2015 as Premises Officer for St Luke's CofE Primary before becoming the Site Manager of both St Luke's and Tugby CofE Primary Schools.
- Sadko is very passionate about Health & Safety
- He is a congregant of One Church Leicester and enjoys helping the community and is also keen supporter of football.
MICHAEL PEDLEY
CLUSTER ESTATES LEAD
- Michael is one of the Cluster Estates Leads supporting the day to day running of the Trusts estates.
- He is a former Construction Manager having worked on many high profile projects including the Olympic Village in London and the Curve Theatre here in Leicester.
- He has a keen interest and experience in Health & Safety.
- Michael joined the education sector in 2015 as the Site Manager of a large 3 form entry Primary School before joining Rise in April 2023.
- Michael is a Tottenham Hotspur season ticket holder.
MARK COLE
CLUSTER ESTATES LEAD
- Mark is one of the Cluster Estates Leads supporting the day to day running of the Trusts estates
- He joined Rise in 2013 as Premises Officer and has worked across a number of our schools
- Before joining Rise, Mark was a Prison Officer at HMP Gartree for 25 years. He enjoys restoring classic cars and DIY projects
IAN NEWMAN
MAINTENANCE LEAD
Ian works with the Estates Team as the Trust’s Maintenance Lead, to help, train and assist school premises officers in their day to day duties.
He offers guidance and expertise working on different building and maintenance projects.
Ian has worked within waste management/maintenance for the past 19+ years and as well as being a qualified L2 electrician, has experience in plumbing, joinery and various other building and maintenance related areas within industrial, office and domestic settings.
