75% of pupils say their teacher is their role model. You could be the difference.
Tue 30 Jan 2024In a world where influences change daily, it's heartening to know that a significant majority of pupils view their teachers as role models. According to recent surveys, a staggering 75% of pupils say their teacher is the person they most look up to. This statistic speaks volumes about the impact educators can have on shaping the future. And you could be one of them.
Your influence:
The bond formed between a teacher and a pupil extends far beyond the classroom. It's a relationship built on trust, mentorship, and the belief that every child deserves the best start in life.
When a child sees their teacher as a role model, it showcases that it is more than ‘just a job’. Teachers have the incredible opportunity to be the positive force that pupils look towards.
Unlocking Potential:
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a teacher is the chance to unlock the potential within each pupil. Every child is unique, with their own set of talents and capabilities. As a teacher, you have the privilege of identifying and nurturing these strengths, helping pupils discover what makes them special.
How You Can Be the Difference:
If you've ever considered a career in teaching, the new year is the perfect time to sign up. Your decision to become an educator could be the difference in a pupil’s life, setting them on a path of success. Teaching is not just a job; it's a calling, a chance to create the leaders and innovators of the future and to make learning a journey of excitement and self-discovery.

I thought the language workshop clearly stated how important it is to be positive within school and give the children the best chance possible to be able to flourish in our care”
“I thought the day was really good; the clear booking service for the courses, the reminders and updates were clear, the venue was excellent including sound and a variety of speakers. The drinks and snacks and lunch were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you to all the team who worked so hard to put the day together. I look forward to the next one.”
Mark Cole, CEO commented “delighted to be able to bring the majority of our support staff together for the day. As a trust staff CPD is given the highest priority. Feedback from the day has been positive and we have already started planning for next year!”
